Twenty five years in the RAF, was followed by a career within the defence industries, starting with the marketing, selling and capturing of C4ISR opportunities both in the UK and overseas for a leading UK defence company. Later, on joining a major European company, responsibilities grew from heading the marketing department of one of the business lines to heading the Domestic and Export Sales organisation for a major Air Division with a portfolio of Weapons, Missile Electronics, Air Traffic Management and C4ISR. A common theme over the 15 years has been conducting and leading sales, marketing and capture activity in a host of export markets in Northern/Eastern Europe, the Far East and the Middle East. Most recent appointments included leading Divisional sales activity across all Gulf nations and then establishing the Key Account lead for a 15Bn Euro company for all sales activity to the Royal Saudi Air Force.
